No credit is allowed for completing a less advanced course after successful completion (C-or better) of a more advanced course in the world languages. That is, if a student completes a level 3 course (i.e. CHN 003, FRE 003, JPN 003, or SPAN 003), they cannot then complete a level 2 (i.e. CHN 002, FRE 002, JPN 002, or SPAN 002) or level 1 (i.e. CHN 001, FRE 001, JPN 001, or SPAN 001) course and earn credit.
- This applies only to lower division world language courses, not upper division courses.
